Mite Development (Mite House League)

Is your child born between 2006 and 2009? Have they completed our Mini-Monarchs program, another Learn to Play Hockey program, or any Mite league? Are they looking for an exciting and fun league? Would you be looking for the best deal around? Would you like an option to start when Fall sports are over? We have the program for you!
The Mite Development (Mite House) program will allow Mite-aged players to gain quality instruction in a fun environment while providing convenient ice times at a reasonable cost to our families!
 
Season begins Wednesday, September 17, 2014 and runs through Saturday, March 7, 2015.

Cost after September 1, 2014 is $575
 
All returning skaters from our 2014 Tri-Town Ice Arena Spring/Summer Learn to Play Hockey or
2013/2014 Mini-Monarchs program will receive an additional $25 off if signed up by September 1, 2014.

Referral Program: Any returning Mini-Monarchs or Junior Monarchs player from the 2013/2014 season who refers a new player (one who has not been previously enrolled), will receive a $25 credit to use towards future programs managed by Tri-Town Ice Arena.
 PROGRAM OUTLINE & BENEFITS
 
  • Meets Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30pm & Saturdays from 9-9:50am at Tri-Town Ice Arena in Hooksett
  • There is no ice time on the following dates: 9/27, 10/25, 11/8, 11/26, 11/29, 12/24, 12/31, 1/3, and 2/14
  • Excellent coaching and volunteer staff to excel player development and skills
  • We follow the guidelines similar to USA Hockey’s American Development Model (ADM)
  • Players must be born in 2006, 2007, 2008 or 2009
  • Skill development model & progression
  • For many of our practices, we will utilize stations in order to keep the players active by dividing & working with players of equal skill
  • Games will be played with all participants receiving equal playing times, will play cross ice/half ice games, then some full ice games after January 7, 2015.
  • Jersey to keep!
  • Public Skating punch card good for 10 free admissions to any of Tri-Town Ice Arena’s public skating sessions ($60 value)
  • We are building the foundation for kids to LOVE the game of ice hockey!
  • Full equipment is required: skates, shin pads, hockey socks, hockey pants, shoulder pads, elbow pads, helmet with face mask, stick, gloves, and neck guard (optional).
  • Every player and coach MUST be registered with USA Hockey prior to the beginning of the season. Please go to www.usahockeyregistration.com and follow the instructions. A copy of the confirmation page (including barcode) must be e-mailed or delivered to the Front Office.
